Evening Classes

All of SalsaHeaven's dance events include classes for those new to the art form and for those already familiar with the basics. In fact, no matter what your level, we have classes that will cater for your existing abilities and get you into the swing of it before the free dancing begins.

Class Content

Beginners & Improvers

19:30hrs - 20:30hrs

This class is intended to take all dancers from absolute beginner through to an experience level equivalent to approximately 8 weeks of salsa instruction.

Basic classes provide instruction on the salsa timings, footwork and partner holds.

Improvers will learn more basic turns with their partners and build up to coordinating cross body leads within their routines.

Intermediates & Advanced

20:30hrs - 21:30hrs

From approximately 8 weeks experience upwards.

Intermediate Classes will start to introduce more turns and emphasise a good lead and work on flowing routines concentrating on your presenting salsa style and timing.

Advanced Classes will provide excellent challenge to your routines and refine all aspects of your salsa technique

Free Dancing

21:30hrs onwards

Please feel free to drop in for salsa freestyle dancing until late. We welcome experienced dancers to join the instructors and spread the good world of salsa to everyone we teach!
